Day 1: Boat ride up the Tambopata River, welcome meeting, night walk in the rainforest
Day 2: Paddling around a beautiful oxbow lake, rainforest photography lecture, talk from ornithologist
Day 3: Photographing alongside ornithology team, macro photography workshop, talk from herpetologist, night walk with herpetology team
Day 4: Photographing frogs, snakes and lizards in field studios, image editing workshop
Day 5: Boat ride to macaw salt lick, swimming in a tributary of the Amazon, tracking caiman at night, camping under the stars
Day 6: Photograph macaws and parrots at the salt-lick, walk trails through a an area of the reserve famous locally for Jaguar encounters
Day 7: Boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado, bus ride up through cloud forest, talk from cock of the rock and orchid expert
Day 8: Photograph a cock of the rock lek, arrive in Cusco
Day 9: OPTION A: Start the Salkantay trek; OPTION B: City tour of Cusco
Day 10: OPTION A: Continue the trek; OPTION B: Transfer to Aguas Calientes with a stop-over at the inka fortress Ollantaytambo, trip to orchid garden
Day 11: All arrive at Machu Picchu, travel back to Cusco by train and car
Day 12: Fairwells in Cusco
