Jonathan Lewis

Jonathan is a professional photographer, ecologist and teacher with a lifelong interest in natural history. He has photographed the wildlife and cultures of an array of colourful countries and cultures with particular fondness of Mexico, Peru, New Zealand, Thailand, South Africa and Uganda.

Jon’s true spirit can be seen through his wildlife macro photography. His photos are represented by Getty Images, Oxford Scientific and Photo Library. Jon’s images and articles have also been published in The Times, National Geographic online, Wildlife Extra and a number of other newspapers, magazines and websites.

Jon lived in the Peruvian Amazon for two summers and has captured an array of unique and charismatic species as well as some astonishing interactions, including one of his enjoyable experiences; following the lives of a family of rare giant river otters living in an oxbow lake in the Tambopata area.

Jon is a natural teacher and an inspiring leader, who brings a mix of fun and professionalism to each group he leads into the wild.

George Bareham

George is a Photographic/Adventure Tour Leader and Naturalist Guide. He has travelled the globe leading groups across Africa, South America, the Middle East, South Asia and Europe.

After graduating from the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom, with a BSc in Environmental Science, he spent six months as a Resident Naturalist at the world famous Explorer’s Inn in Tambopata, Peru. The experience of being immersed in one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet and having the time to photograph what he was seeing was life changing for George and he set his path towards his new found passion.

His travels and his love of photography gave George the opportunity to gather a diverse portfolio of images and over the years has received a number of highly commended awards including the Wanderlust magazine’s prestigious Travel Photographer of the Year Competition 2007.

George is a born leader and helps to make each and every tour a success. He is a patient teacher and holds a vast knowledge of the local wildlife and cultures of many parts of the World.
